2010 January Newsletter: Make this the best year yet of your life

I was very excited to ring in the New Year and be finished forever with 2009 which was horrific at worst, and painful at best. For some reason just saying the words 2010 makes my heart feel hopeful. The new year promises a bright future for those willing to seize the day!

What this downturn did was make everyone revamp, rethink, and rework business strategi

For last year's words belong to last year's language and next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.
~T. S. Eliot

es, products and services. Going through these processes in 2009 makes 2010 an exciting year of achievement and execution, not a new start for old habits.

As you implement 2010 strategies remember that the survivors of 2009 never quit continuous improvement and had the ability to:

  • Be flexible
  • Be creative
  • Ditch the obsolete
  • Stretch for new skills

Do you have these skills? Even if you do, there is always room for improvement and while the entire world is reeling, reorienting, reworking, redoing, and renewing, now is the time to work hard on taking these skills to new levels.
